PTA = Parent Teacher Association = Parents And Teachers Working Together for Students Our PTA has taken on a whole new life! We currently have over 90 members, three times as many as we've had in the past!! Join now! Help your child's school and community have a richer experience with Spirit Days, Family Nights, Awards, and Assemblies! Bonus, you will help your child's class earn an ice cream party! Every class with 100% parent involvement in the PTA earns a free ice cream party!! Only $10 to join!!! Your $10 gives you voting rights at all PTA meetings and goes to fund the programs PTA supports - fieldtrips, family nights, Fall & Spring Festivals, etc! PTA meetings: PTA Board meeting: March 23rd @ 6:30 pm in the Library at Blackford Come and find out what we've been doing at your child's school and what we've got planned for the next few months. You can also help us make decisions and plans. Your paid PTA membership gives you voting rights! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's that time again! Time to nominate and vote for next year's PTA board! Let us know who'd you like to see as your PTA President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer! It's also planning time for our Spring Festival! There are sign-up sheets near the office. Volunteer, donate. Get involved and help Blackford have a rocking Spring Festival!
Thursday, March 17th - SPIRIT DAY - Wear GREEN for St. Patrick's Day!! Thursday, March 17th @ 8:45am in the Community Room - 5th Grade Graduation Meeting!
Friday, March 18th is Dr. Seuss Night! Come to Blackford at 6pm to hear stories, make crafts, etc! See you there!

2010 -2011 Fundraising Goal $18,000 Funds Raised as of Jan 1st $9,400 Funds to be raised $8,600 Order those yearbooks! Price is only $25. This year's book is expected to be HUGE! Filled with all the amazing things your child has done this year. Don't miss out on these memories!
