District students compete in international coding event.

Karen, who hopes to work for NASA one day, joined dozens of middle school students who took part in the Zero Robotics International Space Station (ISS) Finals with the astronauts last Friday, August 10th. Campbell Union School District middle schoolers competed in the Zero Robotics summer program and wrote code for moving mini satellites in zero gravity.

Blackford Bobcats we are so excited to start the 2018-2019 school year. While we hope that you are enjoying the last couple weeks of summer we wanted to ensure that we are providing you with pertinent information to have an incredibly successful start to the year. 

Tentative Class Assignments:

  • On Tuesday, August 21st at 5:00 pm TENTATIVE class placements will be emailed to you. If you do not receive an email not to worry, we will have several people supporting on the first day of school to help you find your child's teacher.

We would like to welcome all of our new Kinder families to Blackford.  Very soon, you will receive information regarding our Kinder round-up event and Kinder orientation.

Kinder round-up is an opportunity for our kinder teachers to assess our incoming kinder students in order to gain an understanding of their academic ability and meet their needs in the classroom.  In the letter coming home, you will receive a time to bring your child in for assessment on August 15th.  If you have any questions or cannot make that time, please call (408) 978-4675.

We are excited to welcome all of our new and returning students to the 2018-2019 school year!  We hope everyone had a fun and relaxing summer and can't wait for another great year.  Please continue to check our website for updated information.  Important dates for August and September will be posted soon.  Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 22nd.  We look forward to seeing everyone!

The Santa Clara County Fair—August 2-5, 2018—is fun AND educational for the whole family!

Thanks to the Santa Clara County Fair, children aged 5-11 can have free admission to this annual event that features, rides, livestock, concerts, hands-on exhibits, and more.

Campbell Union School District’s children need not go hungry when school is out this summer, thanks to the Seamless Summer food program. From June 19th to August 14th, lunch will be served at the following times and locations to children aged 2–18 years:
