Help your child(ren) show their school spirit! We have our first spirit day this Friday, October 6th. This is a way to celebrate our school pride as well as build community. We encourage students to wear clothes to represent their favorite sport, favorite team, favorite player, or a sport they are a part of. Join in the fun of our first spirit day! |

Come and join us for lunch with your child during our BBQ lunch on Friday, October 6th. BBQ lunch for Blackford students is the same price as traditional hot lunch, $3.50, for all visitors BBQ lunch is $4.00 per person. Times for lunch are as follows:

Hearing screening for TK, Kinder, 2nd grade and 5th grade will take place September 28th at Blackford during the regularly scheduled school day. Both teacher and parent referrals are accepted. There are currently two seats to fill in our elected School Site Council. The Council is composed of parents, community members, and representatives from the school’s staff. The Council reviews the school plan annually, establishes a budget, makes modifications as necessary, and assists in the evaluation of the school’s programs.
