	Baseball Program Opportunity	April 19, 2016 - 5:40pm	Junior Giants, is a free, non-competitive and innovative baseball program for boys and girls ages 5-13 years old. Junior Giants teaches the fundamentals of baseball and focuses on the four bases of character development - Confidence, Integrity, Leadership and Teamwork - and offers programs in Education, Health and Violence Prevention. This framework is integrated into the Junior Giants handbook distributed to all of the kids and parents.
	District Opens Discussion on Reorganization Proposal	April 14, 2016 - 4:34am	At a March 17 Study Session, the Campbell Union School District Governing Board began discussions about proposed changes at three of its schools: Rosemary Elementary School, Campbell Middle School, and Village School, the district’s a parent participation school. 	Blackford Gives Back	April 12, 2016 - 9:44am	We are so excited to share that the students of Blackford raised a grand total of $658.80 to support the Abdul Miracle Disabled Children Foundation. This organization is in honor of one of our very own students and the money goes directly to support children suffering in Sierre Leone.
	Cultural Festival Planning	April 11, 2016 - 10:35am	We are excited to announce our cultural festival will take place on Friday May 6th at Blackford. 	District’s Strategic Plan Updated	April 4, 2016 - 5:08pm	At a March 22, 2016 Strategic Planning meeting, Governing Board members and 25 other participants representing the district’s stakeholders met to discuss progress and next steps toward achieving the District’s Strategic Goals. The group brainstormed what it perceived as District strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats/challenges, and members outlined a set of 6-month objectives for attaining the long-term goals.
	Annual School Reports Available	April 4, 2016 - 3:58pm	State-mandated reports, known as SARCs, provide information about each public school¹s demographic and academic data, class sizes, teacher and staff information, fiscal data and descriptions of curriculum and instruction. Reports for schools in Campbell Union School District are available in school offices and online on our School Information page.
