Come join us for our Bike Rodeo where kids will learn the rules of the road, ride the road safety course, practice safe cycling skills and kids can have a bike safety inspection as well as helmet fittings and inspections.

Baseball Program Opportunity April 19, 2016 - 5:40pm

Junior Giants, is a free, non-competitive and innovative baseball program for boys and girls ages 5-13 years old.

Junior Giants teaches the fundamentals of baseball and focuses on the four bases of character development - Confidence, Integrity, Leadership and Teamwork - and offers programs in Education, Health and Violence Prevention. This framework is integrated into the Junior Giants handbook distributed to all of the kids and parents.

Blackford Gives Back April 12, 2016 - 9:44am

We are so excited to share that the students of Blackford raised a grand total of $658.80 to support the Abdul Miracle Disabled Children Foundation. This organization is in honor of one of our very own students and the money goes directly to support children suffering in Sierre Leone.

District’s Strategic Plan Updated April 4, 2016 - 5:08pm

At a March 22, 2016 Strategic Planning meeting, Governing Board members and 25 other participants representing the district’s stakeholders met to discuss progress and next steps toward achieving the District’s Strategic Goals. The group brainstormed what it perceived as District strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats/challenges, and members outlined a set of 6-month objectives for attaining the long-term goals.
