	Report cards are coming home	November 29, 2018 - 9:52am	Wonderful Blackford families, report cards will be coming home on Thursday, Decemeber 6th in "Thursday Envelopes." Please feel free to call or email your child's classroom teacher if you have any addition questions regardling the persmission slip.
	Community Input Affects School Plans	August 9, 2019 - 6:45pm	Each of our schools has a Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) that is built upon input from students, staff, families and community partners. That input informs decisions about initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of all students. Through meetings and the Thoughtexchange online forum, our community is an integral part of the process to establish and update our LCAP plans and allow for more locally based decision-making.

	Red Ribbon Week	October 22, 2018 - 8:43am	Blackford supports Red Ribbon Week this week, this is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention awareness program. If your student would like to join in supporting Red Ribbon Week with us, please note our following participation this week: Monday- wear Red Clothes to show “kick-off” to RED RIBBON WEEK Tuesday- wear silly socks “BECAUSE USING DRUGS IS SILLY” Wednesday- wear a hat to school to "PUT A CAP ON DRUGS” Thursday- wear pajamas “ TO FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS, DON'T DO DRUGS”.
