	Blackford Community Day	April 10, 2017 - 9:31am	This year Blackford has partnered with RAFT (Resource Area For Teaching) to create "Makerspaces" at our school. Makerspaces allow students to gather with one another to explore ideas, create inventions, explore design thinking, to discover and create using a variety of tools and materials. We are going to be building these Makerspaces as a community alongside our partners from RAFT on Saturday March 25th from 10:00 - 4:00 at Blackford. This is a great chance for us to come together as a communty and help create opportunites for our students here at Blackford.
	Sign Up Now for Summer Camps	March 1, 2017 - 10:00am	Starting March 1st, CUSD families can begin signing their children up for summer camps! Campbell Union School District offers a variety of fun and enriching summer camp options for your student. Visit campbellusd.org/summer to see the variety of options available. Space is limited and camps fill up fast. Register now online, or in the CUSD Extensions office.

	Join us for BBQ lunch this Friday	February 13, 2017 - 8:34am	We are having our first bbq lunch of the year. Families of Blackford students, please join us during your child's regulary scheduled lunch time for a bbq lunch. Cost is $3.75 per person visiting for lunch. Cost for students is the same as if they were ordering hot lunch that day, $3.25. (Free/reduced prices still apply) We hope to see you here.
