	Engineering Classes at Blackford!	March 20, 2017 - 11:49am	Calling all engineers! It’s not not too late to register for our Engineering classes. Taking it to the Skies (for grades k- 2): The Junior Aerospace Engineering classes introduce our youngest engineers to fundamental concepts of aircraft and spaceship design. Through open and focused exploration, students explore and construct airplanes, rockets, hot air balloons, and more.
	Blackford Community Day	April 10, 2017 - 9:31am	This year Blackford has partnered with RAFT (Resource Area For Teaching) to create "Makerspaces" at our school. Makerspaces allow students to gather with one another to explore ideas, create inventions, explore design thinking, to discover and create using a variety of tools and materials. We are going to be building these Makerspaces as a community alongside our partners from RAFT on Saturday March 25th from 10:00 - 4:00 at Blackford. This is a great chance for us to come together as a communty and help create opportunites for our students here at Blackford.
