Thank you to all of the families that came to support Blackford at the Back To School Picnic, Back To School Night, our first PTA meeting and our first ELAC (English Language Advisory Committee) meeting. It was so wonderful to see so many families and we truly appreciate your support not only of your child(ren) but also Blackford school. We look forward to seeing you at the next event.

Please join us for our first official PTA meeting on Thursday, September 7th at 8:45a.m. This is an exicting opportunity to hear about all of the wonderful opportunities that PTA provides our Blackford students as well as discover ways that you can get involved in supporting our school. Please join us as we begin this new year of providing wonderful opportunites for all of our students here at Blackford.

Please mark your calendars. Our Back to School Night will be held on Wednesday, September 13th. This year we have the following schedule:

  • TK - 2nd grade meet and greet in your child's classroom 6:00 - 6:40 p.m.
  • 3rd- 5th grade meet and greet in your child's classrom 6:50 - 7:30

Please come and join us and get to know our staff. This is also a great opportunity to meet other families and students in our Blackford community. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please join us for our 3rd annual back to school picnic. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as a Blackford community and meet other families in a relaxed environment. Please bring your family and a picnic dinner to enjoy, and join us on the upper yard grass area from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30p.m on Thursday, September 7th. See you there.
