Reminders for safe Blackford pick up and drop off

Blackford Bobcats need your help to keep them safe during peak traffic times around our school.

In the coming weeks, you may see increased law enforcement to check school zone speeds and ensure proper use of the following areas:

• Passenger Loading Zone (PLZ), on Leigh Ave., is only for dropping off or picking up students while the drivers/parents remain in their vehicles. 

• The 15-minute parking zone, (On Leigh;  Prior to the Passenger Loading Zone (PLZ) by the bus loop), is for drivers/parents who prefer to leave their vehicle and walk students to/from the campus. 

With your help, we can keep our students safe as they travel to and from school and keep traffic flowing well in our neighborhood.
