	Updated Lunch Policy	January 9, 2017 - 8:09am	Lunchtime provides your child the opportunity to socialize with his/her peers as they eat independently. It is also a wonderful extension of the classroom where social learning takes place.
	District Hosts LCAP Meetings	November 30, 2016 - 3:02pm	SAVE THE DATE The public can give input on CUSD's district-wide Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP) for providing quality education to more than 7,600 students in preschool through eighth grade. Two meeting opportunities in January 2017: Wed., Jan. 18, at 9 a.m., and Tue., Jan. 24, at 6:30 p.m. (Each meeting will be held at the PLC building at Monroe Middle School.)

	Robotics After School	November 30, 2016 - 3:03pm	It’s not too late to register! Join us for our Lego Robotics class for grades 2nd-5th. Get a foot in the computer science door through the fun and challenge of building your own lego creations that have motors, pulleys and gears! This class is academically challenging in nature. 	School Accountability Report Card	January 30, 2017 - 1:07pm	By February 1st of each year, every school in California is required by state law to publish a School Accountability Report Card (SARC). The SARC contains information about the condition and performance of each California public school and can be found on our school and district website. A hard copy will also be made available upon request in the front office of the school.
	Thank You PTA And Volunteers	October 30, 2016 - 7:29pm	Please help me in thanking the PTA for another incredible Fall Festival on Saturday. The event was amazing with fun games, great food, and a wonderful silent auction. I am so grateful to our amazing PTA board members and the awesome volunteers that made it all happen. Job well done once again!
	Pick Up And The Parking Lot	October 30, 2016 - 7:21pm	To help with safety and the flow of traffic in the parking lot after school, please make sure to adhere to a few guidelines. Please do not park and wait for your child(ren) in the yellow zone during the 2:50 dismissal time if you have a child(ren) with a release time of 3:00. This is significantly impacting the flow of the pick up lane. Please do not park and leave your car unattended at any time in the yellow or red zones. Please do not double park next to the cones at any time.
