CUSD Celebrates Staff and Volunteer Recognition
May has many education recognition days. CUSD celebrates its staff and volunteers.
In the month of May, the California Department of Education recognizes and celebrates the important impact various staff roles make in educating youth. In Campbell USD, rather than acknowledging principals, school lunch staff, nurses, teachers and others on various days, we designated the week of May 18th to acknowledge the contributions each staff member makes for our students.
CUSD commends its staff and their commitment to making Campbell a great place to learn and a great place to work. We also celebrate and honor a Teacher of the Year, Classified of the Year and Volunteer of the Year from each school site and the District.
We had the distinct pleasure at this month’s ceremony to also celebrate AIM Specialists Megan Delaye and Amanda Raudsep who received Excellence in Art and STEM awards at the Santa Clara County Office of Education Teacher Recognition Ceremony, and Chelsea Armann, Assistant Principal at Forest Hill Elementary, who was named Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), Region 8, Co-Administrator of the Year.
