  • How/when are class placements done?

    • Students are initially placed in a TEMPORARY kindergarten class for the first 3 days of school. Kindergarten is a unique grade level in that we are just meeting your child for the first time. We allow the first 3 days of school to be a time where all of our kinder students meet all of our kinder teachers and all of our kinder teachers meet all of our kinder students. These 3 days allow us to begin the district assessments with your students and start to understand the environment in which they best thrive.

    • Students report to their temporary classroom for the first 3 days of school

    • After the first 3 days of school students will be given their permanent classroom placement for the year.

    • To obtain your student’s permanent classroom placement come to the TK/Kinder yard before school on August 27th. There will be several staff members that will be able to assist you with getting your student’s placement. These lists will also be posted in the TK/Kinder yard.
